The National Summer Learning Association (NSLA) team, shares your concern about the recent news of a Legionella outbreak at the Sheraton Atlanta, our national conference host hotel. The health, safety and comfort of our attendees is our number one priority.
The Georgia Department of Health and Sheraton have recently reopened the hotel after making deep investments and taking intensive, swift and thorough actions to solve the problem and ensure the health and safety of every guest. Please see the attached statement from the hotel General Manger which provides more information.
NSLA continues to closely monitor the situation. We are in continuous communication with hotel leadership and working to explore and provide multiple options to accommodate every conference guest.
Our team looks forward to answering any questions or concerns you have and will keep you abreast of the latest information every step of the way. We look forward to welcoming you in October to an exciting conference with summer learning champions from across the country.
