A local teen will get his first shot as a television news meteorologist when he helps share the forecast for The Weather Channel next week.
Tyler Hughes, 15, one of four who won the Mini Meteorologist Contest put on by Land’s End and The Weather Channel, will present the weather forecast live July 12 for National Summer Learning Day.
