Clear Channel Outdoor Americas (CCOA) has partnered with the National Summer Learning Association on a national media campaign to elevate the importance of keeping all kids learning, safe and healthy during critical summer months. Billboards will run across CCOAs markets in support of National Summer Learning Day, July 12, 2018 and summer learning opportunities for children and youth throughout the season.
The award-winning book, Trombone Shorty, the true story of a boy in New Orleans (author Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews) who follows his passion to become a professional musician, is featured on one of the billboards. The second billboard by CCOA is a joint campaign between The National Summer Learning Association and the Afterschool Alliance, entitled “This is Summer Learning”.
